the fish was released (with a video recording of the release of the fish and a
wider view of the surroundings, including the determination of a specific
place).
CATCH DOCUMENTATION PROCEDURE
1. The photos and videos that will be sent to the
competition must be legible and clear. The video recording must have a format
of at least FULL HD and 30 frames. The quality of the video recording and
photos must be set in the camera settings of the mobile device.
Instructions for iPhone and Android how to set can
be found HERE
2. The organizer will issue a unique code for each
day, which will always be published around midnight. This code is only valid

on the table or meter (you received the table and meter after successful
registration).
3. Competitors must make a video recording from
taking the fish out of the landing net until release or from measuring the fish
on the designated meter to releasing the fish and pointing the camera at their
face (there must be a unique code on the meter or there must be a table with
the code. The table can be attached to the landing net) . During the filming,
the contestant must take a photo of the fish without interrupting the video
recording.
Instructions can be found HERE
RACE SCORING PROCEDURE
1. If there is a match of points, the winner is the
one who scored the most points faster (registered catches for the competition
faster).
2. Each fish species = 1 point.
3. One piece of fish is counted from each type of
fish.
4. A bonus point can be obtained for the longest
catch of the designated fish species listed in the table.
You can find it HERE
5. Only one competitor can have the bonus point for
the longest catch. If someone catches a longer catch, the bonus point is
deducted from the previous competitor and added to the competitor with the
current longest catch.
SPECIFIC RULES AND CATCH REGISTRATION
1. Register your catch through the administration
on the website www.fishingleagueandcup.cz (log in to the administration by
clicking on log in based on
the access data you received after confirming your registration for the
competition).
You can find it HERE
2. If the above-mentioned option does not work for
some technical reasons, photos and video recordings can exceptionally be sent
via uschovna.cz to e-mail universal@fishingleagueandcup.cz after
prior agreement with the organizer.
You can find it HERE
3. Photos and videos must be taken with the
greatest possible care of the fish (fish should be taken out of the water for the
shortest possible and necessary time).
4. A meter must be used to measure the fish, which
each competitor will receive from us.
You can find it HERE
5. Fish are measured according to the rules:
a) Fish up to 20 cm are measured in millimeters (without rounding).
b) Fish over 20 cm are always rounded down to half a centimeter (if a fish is,
for example, 25.8 cm, it is rounded down to 25.5 cm).
6. During the competition, you can exchange larger
fish for smaller ones.
7. Registration of the catch must be done no later
than the next day after catching the fish. The exception is the last day of the
year, when it is necessary to register no later than 31.12.2025 by 24:00.
8. The fish for bonus points must be photographed
on a meter so that the beginning and end of the meter can be seen, followed by
the decimal number on the meter. Example: I catch a carp of 72 cm, I put the
fish on the measuring mat so that the number 80 on the measuring scale can be
seen in the photo. It must be clear that the fish is 72 cm (this is because the
scales on meters may not be visible through the fish).
9. Each photo or video recording (both for the competition
and for bonus points) must have a small table with the competitor's number on
it. These tables will be sent before the start of the competition (the size of
the table is approx. 5x5 cm, it will be possible to attach it to the tray).
10. Caught fish that is a hybrid (eg: bream with
roach, etc.) will not be counted.
11. Fish taken as one species and not
differentiated:
a) There is no difference between crucian carp and
silver crucian carp.
b) There is no difference between whitefish and
whitefish.
c) There is no distinction between white or variegated ( tolstolobce ).
d) For
sturgeons, no distinction is made between species (e.g., small, large, Russian,
Siberian, etc.), and only one point is recorded regardless of the type of
sturgeon caught.
e)
Black bass is classified as a micropterus.
12. Competitors can file a protest for violating
the rules, for example wrong identification of the fish species, etc. Each such
protest is charged 500 CZK (the amount must be paid on the day the protest is
filed, by transfer to the organizer's account). If the protest is evaluated as
justified, the amount will be returned. If the protest is evaluated as
unjustified, the amount will not be refunded. The protest must be filed
immediately upon discovery, at the latest in the case of:
a) Violation of rules, etc. within 24 hours when the violation occurred.
b) Wrong determination of the fish species within 48 hours of the official
publication in the catch table.
13. Competitors should have the fish recorded on
multiple photos from both sides, so that, for example, in the event of a
protest, they will be able to document the photos for the exact identification
of the fish species.
14. If it is not possible to accurately determine
the fish species (there will be more doubts), such fish will not be included in
the competition.
15. For questionable fish species, the organizer
may use the opinion of an independent ichthyologist and persons with experience
in recognizing fish species.
